Urban Abstracts - The assignment results
Stephen will review and comment on pictures taken for the Urban Abstract assignment. There will be a prize!
Please send your selected image by email at least 2 days before to Mike LLoyd or bring it on a USB stick / CD a week before.
History:
On the 28th Jan, Stephen Chung gave us a very interesting talk on Urban Abstracts. At the end of his talk he also gave us a mission, an assignment.
The assignment is to take and submit one picture on the theme of Urban Abstracts (JPEG, 1400x1050 pixels). The theme is split into 4 different categories:
"Colors" for members whose birth month is between January and March
"Lines"
for members whose birth month is between March and June
"Shapes and patterns"
for members whose birth month is between July and September
"Reflections"
for members whose birth month is between October and December

As you know the Town Hall will not be available. However CJ has made available her studio and Amanda the models.
Canon and Nikon users should bring their cameras as I would like to extend the opportunity to have some basic instruction and a try of professional lights. In return, the photographer agrees to make available to Amanda one or two edited photos of their best shots during the night – this is for the models who are kindly giving their time.
