TALK | Gary Groucutt : Visualisation, seeing the image before you take it

"Visualisation, seeing the image before you take it"
We have a talk by landscape photographer Gary Groucutt, a photographer and painter based in Shropshire and who leads photographic workshops in the UK and Europe.
With a background in Fine Art as well as photography, he has studied and been photographically inspired by painters such as Thomas Girtin, John Constable, JMW Turner, David Cox and John Sell Cotman for as long as he can remember.
His photographic speciality is in landscapes and what the effects brought by nature, weather and constantly-changing light bring.
Visualisation - seeing the image before pressing the shutter.
Essentially about planning an image through the seasons. What to look for and when to be ready to make that image.
I talk through my settings, filters, cameras etc and what I use to make my photographs.
