Images and stories from the wilds of East Africa

Federico will share his most memorable encounters with charismatic wild animals and stories from his life in the East African savannah as a photographer and guide for photographic safaris. He will take the participants to his favourite places in East Africa to meet individual elephants, cheetahs, leopards and many others that he followed through the years to reveal some the most intimate moments in their lives.

Federico Veronesi is an award-winning wildlife photographer who originally hails from Italy but moved to Kenya in his twenties in order to follow his passion for wildlife. In 2007 he moved full time to the Maasai Mara to immerse himself completely and since then has spent many years photographing wildlife in the bush. His much-coveted prints are now sold all over the world and his images are regularly used by the BBC in their books to accompany their well-loved nature documentaries. He also now leads many photographic tours throughout Kenya and Tanzania. His new book “Light & Dust” is out now and he is giving a series of talks about his wildlife photography to promote it. He will bring copies of the book on the night to sign for anyone who would like to purchase a copy.
