TALK | Tal Chohan "The Deer and the Tiger"

Continuing to benefit of from distance no longer being the restriction that it once had, Tal Chohan returns to share more of over ten years of experience of photographing local Deer at various locations, with the second half consisting of his latest tiger works. As with my other talks he will cover the ethics of wildlife photography, field craft, light, composition and break down each of my images.

Tal writes:

I am based in Birmingham, UK and I have loved wildlife since I was a child and have fond recollections of my holidays to India. Here I first encountered animals amongst the farm life in my family's villages and back in the UK school trips to Zoo's and nature reserves. As an adult, I have been entranced by wildlife photography for nearly a decade now. The raw experience that led me to walk this path, was my first tiger safari in 2008. Days of travelling through highly developed landscapes, leading to pristine wilderness and finally the jewel in the crown... a wild tiger, was an experience I still remember well and feel to this day.

Searching for wildlife both near and far, as well as in our best wildlife parks has enabled me to capture endangered species, and present them to you, the viewer, in the best possible light (both literally and metaphorically) in a bid to inspire and preserve our natural heritage for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations.
