Something in these odd times to replace the traditional Barbecue.

Walpole Park offers easy access from Ealing Broadway and everyone should bring their own food and drink so we will be able, weather permitting, to enjoy a bit of pre-season sociability!

3 pm Meet at the gate entrance to Walpole Park, Mattock Lane, (W5 5BG) just over the road from Questors Theatre. There’s parking on Mattock Lane itself and various options around Ealing Broadway and lots of buses, should you wish.

Alternatively, join us at ‘picnic camp’ by walking forward from the gate towards the second open space on the right, opposite The Rickyard/Pitzhanger Pantry (not at all sure that this will be open…) and towards the fountains. Please be aware that toilets appear to be closed.

Current government Guidelines, which we will follow, allow for meetings in any outdoor space in multiple groups of up to six people from different households.

Weather: We can be ever-so British and picnic in the rain….but we will do a rain check nearer the time and - if it is forecast to be terrible - then a new plan will be hatched…or not. (Check the EHHPS website!)
