Rosebowl Round 2: Amanda Wright Reports

Last night (29 October) was the second round of the Rosebowl held at Field End and judged by Peter Prosser and also against Amersham as before. 

Projected images were judged first, Peter held back 4, two of which were by Annie so things were looking hopeful and she was awarded an 18 for Sail and a 20 and a star for Softly Swirling. The other 20 and star went to professional photographer Mark Seymour of Amersham for Holy Man of The Ganges, an outstanding image.

Jenny was also awarded an 18 for Autumn Palette - well done girls!!

Final projected scores were

Amersham 1st 90 points
EHHPS 2nd 87 points
Field End 3rd 86 points

Nail biting stuff

But then came the prints. Peter held back 6 of the 15 prints and not one from EHHPS. We scored 17 for all 5 submitted prints giving us a total of 85 points

Both 20's and stars went to Amersham.

Total print scores were

Amersham 1st 90
Field End 2nd 87
EHHPS 3rd 85

This meant that overal Amersham were the obvious winners with 180

Field End came 2nd with 173

And EHHPS once again came last just 1 point behind with 172

Just to add insult to injury I've now used up my quota of 4 PDI images per photographer across the competition from Annie so sadly won't be able to submit any PDI's from her for Round 3 which we are hosting on 4th Dec.
