PAGB Inter-Federation Competition Results: Amanda Wright Reports
/I'm delighted to announce that the results for this years PAGB Inter-Federation Competition are in and that we didn't do too badly at all. 15 Federations entered each category and the top 15 scores from each Federation made up their total score.
A best image is awarded along with 3 judges awards and 6 ribbons in each competition.
In the Colour Print Competition we came joint 6th with 172 points, the winners were Lancashire and Cheshire (LCPU) with a total score of 187
The Best Image, Hokkaido Dawn was by Peter Wyles from the Welsh Photographic Federation (WPF) but the CACC managed to achieve two PAGB Ribbons:
From The Mist Of The Ganges by Mark Seymour from Amersham
An Anxious Wait by Belinda Ewart CPAGB from Field End
In the Mono Print Competition we (The CACC) came 7th with a total score of 169 points.
The winners were once again LCPU with 178 points.
I'm delighted to say that The Best Image and Gold Medal went to The Humble Life of The Blacksmith by Belinda Ewart CPAGB from Field End which is fantastic news, she's done exceptionally well.
And finally in the Nature Print Competition we slipped back a bit in the league table coming 11th with a total score of 168, only one point behind our Mono Print result, but the Southern Counties Photographic Federation (SCPF) were the overall winners with a total of 186
Despite this though I'm thrilled to be able to announce that Green Cribraria Slime Moulds by Barry Webb FRPS from Wycombe was awarded a Judges Award
Another fantastic win, really well done.
