This year's first Summer Event, organised by Mike Roscoe,  takes the form of a photographic walk around one of London's iconic parks:

Meet by the Albert Memorial, opposite the Royal Albert Hall on Kensington High St/A315. The nearest tube stations are High St. Kensington and South Kensington. It's a 10 min walk from each.

Practise building photography of the hall and other nearby historic buildings.

Then, approx 80 mins in the Park, leisurely taking in the Serpentine, Peter Pan statue, Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, the Italian Gardens.... and anything else of interest that we can find.

Followed by Supper at 7pm at The Swan, 66 Bayswater Road, nearest tube Lancaster Gate.

Meet at 4.45 pm – Walk starts at 5pm
